My Story
When I first heard of Scentsy, I had no idea what it was. It was a friend who came to my graduation party and introduced me to her new business and handed me 1,000 cards and asked me if I could pass them out during my graduation party. I told her that I did not have time for that since everyone is coming up to me and asking me what I received my degree in and wanted to know what I was planning on doing next. So I told my friend she was more than welcome to hand them out herself, and when I got a chance I would look at her site and order something. Well a month later I was traveling for work and I had just got back to my hotel room and I decided to go to her site and call her to order for I did not know what to get. She ended up talking me into getting the Perfect Premium Package which is the Two $35 warmers and 6 scentsy bars ( which is in the combine and save) I saw the chevron on the picture which was blue and I saw a Paris warmer. So I tried to order the those warmers. The Blue chevron was sold out so I ended up getting the black and white chevron and the Paris warmer. A week later I received my Scentsy and I plugged it in and put in a Scent (Black Raspberry Vanilla) and I just immediately fell in love with this product. It was the best thing I have ever smelt and I could not believe that I have never heard about this scentsy before then. I then took the Black and White chevron warmer upstairs and plugged it in my grandmothers room and had her smell this wonderful thing, she to fell in love! A week later my friend called me and asked if I was loving the products that I have bought! I told her yes it is the best thing in the world! She then proceeded to tell me I should join her team and that as passionate that I am toward this product I could easily sell it. I thought about it and I decided to do it ! She then told me that the night of my party she decided not to hand out her cards, for she knew that I would fall in love with the product and I would have a starting base with my family. So I took her advise and I took my warmer and the scentsy bars that I had to each family member and I sold and made my way to Sensational Start Level 2 on my own! (which you have to sell so many prvs. and then my friend left me to defend on my own, where I still not know alot about the company, so I decided to reach out to the top person on my team! Sarah Thomas my Star Director Helped me go from there to reaching the Incentive Trip! and it was only my first year!!! SO I not only hit the second highest level I also made it to Disney world with the Company as a new member!!! There I was able to meet Sarah Thomas and others that are on our team (Peg Wilson) and I was able to meet so many other Scentsy sisters that are from all over!! I met people from Canada and so much more! One thing that I love about this company is that no matter where you are from you can go anywhere and talk to anyone about your own business and that is exactly what I did. I talked to a girl I met in Disney and she and her family were on vacation at the same hotel that I was at so I talked to her about my business and she joined my team !! I am from Missouri and I she from Texas I also have team members who are from all over! Scentsy is an amazing company and I can say that this is the best decision I have ever made when I joined ! It has even helped me pay alot of my Student loans off!
